Hi Kajsa Wiklund, Business Development Manager at Vivologica, what is your portal?
– We have developed a user-friendly digital portal for researchers working with animal models. It handles everything from data collection, analysis, compliance and reporting. Most of it is currently handled manually with paper and pencil or in separate Excel files. It is time-consuming and prone to errors. Now the system keeps track of everything and guides you in the right direction, making sure you follow detailed laws and report correctly. The whole process becomes safer and smoother.
You are a start-up company that joined SwedenBIO this year. Who is behind the idea?
– VivoLogica is founded by Sara Mangsbo, Ph.D., and is developed in collaboration with researchers from RISE, Uppsala University, Nottingham Trent University and Statens Serum Institut. The reason for the position is that an incredible amount of time is spent on administration and this takes away important time from research – a problem we share with many.
