Fredersen Law Firm provides free training on contractual pitfalls

Fredersen Advokatbyrå has developed a free training course for SwedenBIO members. The two-hour course covers the contracts that companies encounter from idea to approved drug, and the pitfalls to watch out for.

A company enters into a variety of agreements from the launch of the idea until the drug is hopefully approved: transfer agreements, research agreements, CTAs, MTAs, license agreements, confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, etc. It is not uncommon for these agreements to be drafted in such a way that unnecessary problems can arise during licensing, takeovers, IPOs or when dealing with different investors. Managing contracts that are not designed in the desired way can also take up a lot of the company’s resources. The training will cover the types of contracts you may encounter and how to make sure you deal with different pitfalls in the best possible way. Usually these are easy to fix as long as you know about them and what you want. The training takes about two hours and can be organized in the way that suits you best, digitally, at your place or at ours. If you want us to go into more detail on any part, that’s fine too. If you are interested, please contact Jonas Kullgren(jonas.kullgren@fredersen.se), who is the lawyer and partner responsible for these issues at our firm.
