Five-year anniversary of NLSDays breaks records

The fifth anniversary of the Nordic Life Science Days is expected to break visitor records in Malmö on September 12-14. This year, over 1,200 entrepreneurs and investors from around the world are expected to take advantage of this unique opportunity to find new investment and business opportunities.

SwedenBIO has already noted an increasing interest from international investors and global life science companies to invest in projects at an increasingly earlier stage of development. NLSDays has grown every year and now the organizers expect over 2,500 meetings between companies and investors to take place.

Mikael Odenberg, Chairman of the Board of Governors at Karolinska Institutet and suddenly highly topical in other contexts, will give the opening speech. He is passionate about taking academic discoveries to innovation and exploitation.

This year’s keynote speakers include Mikael Dolsten, Global Head of Research at Pfizer.

– The Nordic Region’s innovative climate is becoming increasingly well known internationally,” he says, referring to this year’s expected record number of visitors.
