In the first CEO letter of the year, Frida shares a few words about what is to come in 2023, and thanks for the time spent at SwedenBIO.

Happy New Year!
SwedenBIO’s office is geared up to represent your members for another year and we do so with humility in the face of the challenges – both domestic and global – that businesses face. We also do so, as always, with respect for the shared resources and diverse needs we manage and respond to.
In 2023, we’re keeping a high profile in providing venues and meeting places, as well as knowledge and information activities – with as much bang for the buck as we can deliver.
With fresh facts about the Swedish pipeline up our sleeve, we can also promote Swedish companies and lobby for favorable conditions. In the beginning of March, this year’s edition of The Swedish Drug Discovery and Development Pipeline Report will be launched, look out for the launch seminar in the calendar on swedenbio.se. You will also find all the other activities planned for the year. Highlights of the year include the Executive Dinner on May 10 and the 10th anniversary of the Nordic Life Science Days in Copenhagen on November 29-30.
This will be my last letter, not only as interim CEO, but from my time at SwedenBIO. I thank you now for me and for all the stimulating, challenging and rewarding collaborations and projects that I have had the honor of running with many of you over the past three years. I am now moving on to an exciting new challenge in my career. I wish you all, and not least Jessica Martinsson, who takes over as the new CEO of SwedenBIO, the best of luck in your own and common challenges.

During her three years at SwedenBIO, Frida has, among other things, driven issues regarding the companies’ conditions for conducting research and development, competence supply for life science companies and conditions for more clinical trials in the country.
The SwedenBIO secretariat thanks Frida for all she has contributed in recent years and wishes her all the best!
