Drug treatment in COVID-19 – what have we learned and where do we stand now?

When the pandemic started, we were faced with a new disease-causing virus that no one had previously known about. Healthcare professionals had to quickly learn how to care for COVID-19 patients to save lives and health, and drug treatments started to develop at a rapid pace.

Presentation

Now that cases are increasing again, the health sector is better equipped with knowledge and treatment options. But how much better? What drugs are in the arsenal? How good are they? What other measures have the greatest impact on patients? And what is in the pipeline?

In a digital breakfast seminar, senior physician Jan Vesterbacka from the Infection Clinic at Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge highlights the current situation. After the presentation, there is time for questions from participants and discussion.

The meeting is free of charge and open to all interested parties!
