Identification of biomarkers from large-scale biological data

The University of Skövde invites you to a breakfast lecture on how they work to identify potential biomarkers from large-scale biological data. You will also find out more about the EU-funded collaborative project 'skaraborg's innovative environments'.

Recently, there has been an explosion of technological development in the field of life sciences, which means that large amounts of biological data can be generated in a short period of time. There is currently a great deal of interest and high expectations regarding the possibility of discovering new biomarkers that can be used for diagnostics, drug development and personalized medicine.

The Research Center in Systems Biology at the University of Skövde conducts interdisciplinary research based on computer science and biology and has unique competencies in data mining of biological data.
