In the head of a Horizon 2020 evaluator

Vinnova invites you to a seminar on the evaluation of research and innovation/innovation action proposals. The seminar will be led by Monica Schofield, who has more than 20 years' experience in the EU research funding landscape as a successful proposal initiator, evaluator and trainer.

The aim of the seminar is to give an understanding of the evaluation process for EU research/innovation actions in Horizon 2020 and the approach taken by evaluators in scoring proposals. Monica Schofield will reflect on what is required to score well on the evaluation criteria, what features highly ranked proposals have in common as well as pitfalls to avoid. The Impact Section, which is often perceived as a particular challenge, will be addressed in detail. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

The seminar offers an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into what makes a proposal impressive and thereby an insight into how to present the case for funding more convincingly. We believe that you will benefit most from this particular seminar if you have a prior understanding of Horizon 2020.

The seminar also offers the possibility to discuss individual proposals with the Horizon 2020 National Contact Points.

Please note that the training will be given on two occasions, 10th and 11th of October (identical content both days) and you can register for one of the days.
