MedTech and innovation – creating value

Join us for a packed hour on how players in the hottest patent industry, MedTech, are working to develop the value of their innovations.

The MedTech sector is the technology area with the highest number of patent applications filed at the European Patent Office. Therefore, PRV and VINNOVA want to raise a number of issues, including:

  • How does MedTech differ from other sectors?
  • What business models exist?
  • What should be considered?

Joining us at the seminar on November 11 is BiBB Instruments, which has won innovation awards from TV4 and Veckans Affärer. They will talk about their success factors and how they think about their international ambitions:

Expert panel

There will also be a panel of experts on hand to answer questions and give advice:

  • Henrik Eriksson – patent engineer, PRV
  • Annika Kilander – patent consultant, Brann
  • Sofia Nikolopoulou – IP Advisor, Uppsala University Innovation
  • Johan Nordlund – Legal Officer, PRV
  • Charles Walther – doctor, scientist and founder of Bibb Instruments

As many ideas in MedTech originate from universities, the seminar will also highlight experiences in commercializing research results. The seminar is particularly aimed at those who are advising companies, businesses or innovation.

In person or online

The seminar will be available on site at VINNOVA or via webcast on prv.se.
