SwedenBIO organizes several events and meeting places every year. The majority of these are free to attend for all employees of our member companies. Our annual meetings are
- Executive Dinner. Exclusive dinner and future discussions for the leaders of our member companies.Follows SwedenBIO’s formal annual meeting in May.
- Almedalen. SwedenBIO is present in Summer Sweden’s debate arena. Welcome to our garden and get in touch if you want to organize activities in the so-called SwedenBIO house.
- Nordic Life Science Days. With over 1600 delegates from 40 countries,NLSDaysis the largest international partnering meeting in the Nordic region.SwedenBIO members get a 30% discount on the registration fee.
- SwedenBIO Summit. We round off the year with a inspiration day, often in December, where prominent profiles share their tips and experiences.

Network of experts
In SwedenBIO’s network there is a huge amount of knowledge and we facilitate the transfer of knowledge between different companies, actors and experts. Our combined network of experts consists of working groups and task forces. Through these groups you can get involved in SwedenBIO’s work. They produce fact sheets, seminars and other knowledge dissemination materials to share their experiences.
International
SwedenBIO is an active player in the international arena, offering both visibility and financial benefits to its members. We also organize Swedish delegations to JPM, BIO and BioEurope – please let us know if you are interested in joining.
Knowledge
Through the annual Life Science Barometer, we take the temperature of the industry and publish this data in a national context. Every three years we publish the so-calledpipeline reportwhere we map Sweden’s overall pharmaceutical development. The reports are important for influencing policy and promoting Swedish life science abroad.
Courses
Together with Läkemedelsakademin, SwedenBIO organizes courses in business development and drug development, tailored for smaller life science companies that want an overview and practical advice. The member’s discount is given directly in the course registration form. Read more here.
Policy
SwedenBIO actively participates in the public debate. We are a formal consultative body and are represented in various advisory councils and national groups. We have regular contacts with government offices, authorities, universities and other types of decision-makers that affect the industry’s long-term and short-term conditions. Through SwedenBIO’s neutral position, you as a company can have your views heard.

Meeting rooms
Our members can borrow a meeting room free of charge at SwedenBIO’s office at Wallingatan 24 in central Stockholm. It can host meetings for up to 8 people, and you can also borrow a room for a few hours to sit and work. Please contact us a few days in advance to check availability.
