Three-day course in drug development
Together with Läkemedelsakademin, SwedenBIO organizes a course in drug development, tailored for smaller life science companies that want to get an overview of all steps from start to finish. The course is held annually with two specializations – one on small molecules and one on biologics. The member’s discount is given directly in the course registration form. Board training
The Board Academy aims to give boards the tools to do their most important job: to help management find the right way forward and create growth and economic value – in a sustainable way.
There is also a bank of candidates where companies can look for the right skills and experience for their board. At the national level, the Board Academy promotes good practices and sound principles for board work at a horizontal level. Read more about the current courses onboardacademy.com.
Effective knowledge transfer and business intelligence
In SwedenBIO’s network there is a huge amount of knowledge and SwedenBIO facilitates the transfer of knowledge between different companies, actors and experts. Our newsletter summarizes what’s happening in the world and current seminars.
SwedenBIO regularly surveys the state of the industry. In the so-called pipeline report we compile the progress of all Swedish pharmaceutical projects, an important marketing material to show what is happening in the life science sector in Sweden.

Since SwedenBIO actively participates in the public debate, is a referral body and is represented in various advisory boards and groups, a membership means that you can easily get your views heard through us. Life for startups was not without challenges before the effects of the coronavirus crisis hit and the situation is now tough for many smaller companies.
