Nominate for the Athena Prize 2016

Where is the best clinical research in Sweden today? Tell us by nominating your candidate for the Athena Prize, Sweden's largest prize for clinical research. The jury is ready to receive this year's nominations until June 5.

The Athena Prize, Sweden’s largest prize for clinical research, has been established to highlight the need for clinical research of high scientific quality that takes place in collaboration between healthcare, academia and industry.

To win, research and development has been carried out in close collaboration between healthcare, academia and industry. It does not have to be a large established company that is involved. On the contrary, many of the previous Athens Prize winners are researchers who started their own companies when they saw a potential market for their discoveries.

The winner receives a research grant of SEK 150 000. The Athena Prize is awarded in 2016 for the ninth year. You can nominate until June 5.

The prize is sponsored by Vinnova and Dagens Medicin together with Forte, LIF, SKL, SwedenBIO, Swedish Medtech and the Swedish Research Council.
