Susanne Baltzer, a specialist in protein chemistry and biotechnology, has a solid background in the life science industry with experience in companies with different specializations. She joins us from the Swedish Medical Products Agency, where she was involved in setting up the agency’s innovation office, which was tasked with providing information about the rules surrounding medicines and medical devices in a more understandable way.
– It was an eye-opener for me that many smaller companies did not have sufficient understanding of the regulations and did not know where to turn with their questions, says Susanne Baltzer, who is looking forward to her new tasks at SwedenBIO:
– It is important to provide professional guidance to smaller companies on issues related to Horizon 2020 and Eurostars. Here I hope that my background and long experience will enable me to provide valuable advice.
