SwedenBIO opens new office in Gothenburg

On Friday, September 22, SwedenBIO inaugurates its new office at GoCo Health Innovation City in Gothenburg.

GoCo Health Innovation City is currently emerging as the premier innovation cluster in Gothenburg for life science companies, researchers and start-ups. The initiative attracts both national and international actors and talents.

SwedenBIO operates nationally but has so far only had offices in Stockholm and the opening at GoCo is the organization’s first physical establishment outside the capital. The aim is to support the industry and strengthen its presence in the region.

“Life science is an industry where collaboration and cooperation is extremely important between the various players in the ecosystem. Here in Gothenburg, industry, real estate developers, investors and the state are investing together and investing heavily. Then something happens and we want to be involved in supporting this important development.”, comments Jessica Martinsson, CEO of SwedenBIO.

“We are very happy that SwedenBIO is establishing at GoCo Health Innovation City. Their proximity and presence here will be much appreciated by the whole of West Sweden. This includes everyone involved in GoCo’s community,” says Marie Uddenmyr, Director Corporate Relations at GoCo Health Innovation City.
