The SwedenBIO Award is the industry’s own award and aims to provide increased visibility for life science actors by recognizing and rewarding successful and exemplary member companies that have distinguished themselves and contributed to positive attention for Swedish life science. The award has been handed out since 2007 to put the spotlight on successful and inspiring companies.\u00a0

Following nominations from the industry, the jury has selected the following three finalists for the 2023 award:

Genovis<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>
Genovis provides enzymes and technologies for analytical characterization and conjugation of biopharmaceuticals. The company has launched several products and partnered with a number of international companies leading to rapid growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pelago Bioscience<\/a>
Spun out from the Karolinska Institute in 2013, Pelago Bioscience was founded to provide and develop the patented Cellular Thermal Shift Assay (CETSA) for use in determination and quantification of drug\u2013target interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Xbrane Biopharma <\/a>
Xbrane Biopharma aims to take protein production in\u00a0E. coli<\/em>\u00a0to the next level. The company\u00a0enables their customers to produce their proteins in a controllable system, with higher yields and better quality.

The winner will be announced at our member-exclusive event, Summit, on the 30th January 2024 at Grand H\u00f4tel in Stockholm.

The jury consist of SwedenBIO\u2019s board: Lotta Ljungqvist, 4L Bioconsulting; Christine Wesstr\u00f6m, Sobi; Anders Persson, AstraZeneca; Kertin Falck, Pfizer; M\u00e5rten Winge, Strike Pharma; Niels Abel Bonde, Novo Nordisk Sweden; Carl Kilander, HealthCap; Sana Alajmovic, Sigrid Therapeutics; and Torkel Gren, Recipharm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
