This is an event by and for biomakers, biohackers and DIY biologists with the purpose of sharing inspirational stories and practical hacks and protocols from the greater biohacker movement. This is an event for people who want to be engaged in building the biomakers movement in Sweden and across the World. This event is for people who want share ideas and to do stuff with their own hands and brains.
The conference has four main themes: Lab, Health, Cyborg and Community and all talks and activities will be categorised under one of these themes.
Program overview
09.00-12.00 Inspirational stories from biohackers. No talk longer than 15 minutes.
12.00-15.00 Unconference. Do you have a hack or project you want to present? You’ll get a poster spot for an hour. Please submit your proposal by email to < olle@bionyfiken.se > the sooner the better but not later than 15 March. There is a total of 24 unconference slots.
15.00-17.30 Workshops. Workshops in the real sense of the word, i.e. everyone is involved and the purpose is to produce something of lasting value.
18.00-later Drinks and dinner – separate event not included in the conference fee – will be posted later.
