Lantmännen Medical is working with R&D of the Antisecretory Factor (AF), a protein endogenous to the human body which was discovered more than 20 years ago by the Swedish scientists Professors Stefan Lange and Ivar Lönnroth. AF has a fundamental role in secretory and inflammatory diseases, such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and Ménière’s disease.
