Profundus AB was founded on the results of research and development of a unique instrument for wide-field high-resolution adaptive optics retinal imaging, by the Adaptive Optics research team at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Gothenburg. Profundus’ aim is to provide researchers and clinicians with a tool that can visualize currently subclinical changes of retinal disease.
