The company was founded in 2017, developing a midazolam film project based on a solid foundation of preliminary in vivo data and pharmaceutical film development experience. SWIPP is currently owned by the two co-founders Christer Sjögren and Bengt Westrin, AdhexPharma (France), and six Swedish investors.
