Sciar Company is a startup company from Helsinki, Finland. We have developed a tool for laboratories, where we want to reduce human error and create better data from work. The user creates work protocols, which are then displayed on a mobile or smart-glass device. The system recognizes what the user is doing and automatically creates a documentation of the work and saves all data in real time.
We have collaborated with the University of Helsinki, VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland), and also made a proof-of-concept test in Testa Center, Uppsala in 2019. We are now looking for users for a beta trial of the tool in the Nordic countries. These can be from research centers, or universities, but also from industrial life science companies.
