Almedalen
SwedenBIO takes part in Sweden’s key summer arena for political debate. In addition to hosting our own events, we open up our garden space for members who wish to organize activities at the SwedenBIO House.
Nordic Life Science Days – the leading Nordic partnering conference
With over 1,600 delegates from 40 countries, NLSDays is the Nordic region’s largest international partnering event. SwedenBIO members receive a 30% discount on the registration fee.

Unique industry data that drives progress forward
Through the annual Life Science Barometer, we take the pulse of the industry and publish this data in a national context. Every third year, we publish the so-called pipeline report where we map Sweden’s collective pharmaceutical development. The reports are important for policy influence and for marketing Swedish life science abroad.

The expert network
Within SwedenBIO’s network, there are enormous amounts of knowledge, and we facilitate knowledge transfer between different companies, stakeholders, and experts. Our collective expert network consists of working groups and task forces. Through these groups, you can engage in SwedenBIO’s work. They produce fact sheets, seminars, and other knowledge-sharing materials to share their experiences. Through the expert network, you as member representatives can directly influence which issues SwedenBIO pursues.
We drive issues that affect the industry – and your company
SwedenBIO actively participates in public debate to advocate for the industry. We are a formal consultative body and are represented in various advisory councils and national groups. We maintain ongoing contact with government offices, authorities, academic institutions, and other types of decision-makers who affect the industry’s conditions in both the long and short term. Through SwedenBIO’s neutral position, you as companies can have your views heard.
