SwedenBIO is thrilled to announce that twenty promising life science companies from the Nordic region have been shortlisted to compete in the prestigious Nordic Stars pitch competition at Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) 2024. This event will take place in Malmö on September 18-19 and will showcase cutting-edge innovations to an audience of investors, industry leaders, and conference delegates.
Meet the Future of Nordic Life Science
These small- and medium-sized private companies, hailing from various Nordic countries, are deeply engaged in health, medicine, and life science research and development. Each company will have the opportunity to deliver a four-minute pitch, aiming to attract new investors and business partners through both their presentation and the conference’s partnering system.
In addition to potential investor interest, the competitors will vie for a significant prize awarded during the NLSDays closing ceremony. The company deemed to have the highest investment potential by a jury of investors and pharma representatives will receive a prize of €10,000 in cash, in-kind services, and two full-access tickets to NLSDays 2025.
The Expert Jury
All applicants were rigorously assessed by an expert panel, which selected the 20 companies to participate at NLSDays. This jury will also judge the pitches at the event. The panel includes:
