SciLifeLab Science Summit 2017

Imaging the Complexity of Life. International and national speakers are lined up to discuss the current state and future perspectives of bioimaging technologies and how they are used in research.

Focusing broadly on bioimaging, including super-resolution microscopy as well as cryo-electron microscopy and how these technologies are used for example to study neurobiology on a molecular level, plant differentiation processes or bacterial biofilm formation.

This one-day conference offers oral presentations as well as opportunities for interaction and conversation. In addition, we will repeat the successful short pitches ”Highlight of the year” from last year. You will get to listen to SciLifeLab researchers presenting a selection of scientific highlights from 2016 and vote for your favorite one who will receive a prize during the day.

Outside the lecture hall, there will be ample time for discussions and mingle. We invite PhD students in the field of bioimaging to present a poster and during the mingle session after the conference there will be time to ”Meet the speaker”. Bring your own images to the Art walk and share the beauty of microscopy with colleagues.
