Call for Academic and Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowships in Data-Driven Life Science 2026
Project proposals in the four strategic research areas of DDLS (Cell and Molecular Biology, Evolution and Biodiversity, Precision Medicine and Diagnostics, and Epidemiology and Biology of Infection) are welcome. The funded projects should align with the DDLS strategy, offer a novel and original data-driven perspective, possess high scientific quality, and combine life science and data science topics. SciLifeLab PULSE: Program for Future Leaders in Life Science
SciLifeLab PULSE is a postdoctoral program, that will train 48 future leaders in life sciences. It focuses on innovative, fundamental and translational research carried out in supportive and diverse academic and industrial environments. The second SciLifeLab PULSE call will open on December 15, 2025. More info here.
SciLifeLab PULSE: Entrepreneurial track
PULSE postdoc applicants have the opportunity to choose between an academic or an entrepreneurial track. Both fellowship tracks will include advanced training in research and transferable skills, integrating international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral elements to foster collaborations and career development towards future leadership in molecular life sciences. SwedenBIO har hållit föreläsningar om det svenska innovationsstödsystemet och om karriärfärdigheter för forskare för svenska och europeiska doktorander. SwedenBIO har även fungerat som rådgivare till KTH i arbetet med att definiera deras nya masterprogram som kombinerar bioteknik och datavetenskap, samt till KI för deras masterprogram i translationell fysiologi och farmakologi.
Praktikplatser och utbyten
SwedenBIO för dialog med relevanta aktörer kring hur industrin kan öppna upp för fler praktikplatser och utbyten, både inom grund- och högre utbildning samt för yrkesinriktade utbildningsprogram. Vi har även ett nära samarbete med SciLifeLab och deras arbete för utökat samarbete med industrin.
