AcuCort’s new, innovative drug candidate enables fast uptake of the active ingredient. ISICORT® is not a tablet that must be swallowed nor does it require access to water since it is a fast-dissolving oral film to be put on the tongue. It is based on a well-known version of cortisone – dexamethasone. Important benefits in stressful situations such as acute and severe allergic reactions, not least for persons with swallowing difficulties.
