BIO International Convention 2026 will take place from June 22 – 25 in San Diego, USA and will, following several years of absence, have a coordinated Swedish presence in the form of a national pavilion.

The Swedish booth, coordinated by Business Sweden, will function as a base for Swedish companies during the conference and will help showcase Sweden as a leading life science nation.
SwedenBIO has previously voiced concerns about the insufficient marketing of Swedish life science at international arenas and has asked decision-makers for an increased budget to allow for national pavilions at major life science events.
The BIO International Convention attracts more than 1,600 exhibitors and 21,000 visitors who come together for a week of intensive networking to discover new opportunities and promising partnerships. In 2025, more than 100 delegates from Swedish life science companies attended, looking for investors and partners.
