Taking place in the Swedish capital Stockholm, this pan-European flagship event is expected to gather several thousand experts who will have a chance to get a closer glance of Swedish life science. SwedenBIO will contribute to putting Sweden’s vibrant life science ecosystem in the spotlight, reinforcing its global position as a hub for cutting-edge research, development, and commercialization.
“BIO-Europe in Stockholm presents a unique opportunity to highlight our dynamic life science industry on the global stage and we aim to showcase the strength and innovation of our Swedish industry”, explained Marjo Puumalainen, International Director at SwedenBIO who coordinates and oversees the organisations activities at BIO-Europe.
Swedish pavilion and SwedenBIO hosted seminars
A consortium of Swedish life science-actors including SwedenBIO and led by BusinessSweden, have developed an engaging Swedish pavilion to promote Swedish life science.
The pavilion will not only put on display Swedish life science expertise but also serve as an arena where it is discussed in the form of seminars hosted by SwedenBIO. The first seminar taking place on Monday 4th at 11am is titled ‘Unlocking Sweden’s Innovations’ and will delve into Sweden’s key strengths within the life science industry, offering broad insights on how the Swedish ecosystem works.
The second seminar, held on Tuesday 5th at 11am is titled ‘Manufacturing in Sweden: Innovation Meets Sustainability.’ This seminar highlights Sweden’s leadership in pharmaceutical manufacturing, where cutting-edge innovation aligns with sustainable practices. It will explore advanced production techniques, eco-friendly initiatives, and Sweden’s role in shaping a greener, more efficient pharma industry.
